Jimbo

Jimbo has presented shows on Global Radio one and off for the past 8 years. He heralds from Yorkshire where he cut his teeth in local radio and the club world. He went on to commentate on football in England and covered golf's Ryder Cup when the tournament came to Spain a few years ago.

Jim left the UK for these sunny climbs and after spells with other commercial radio, was head hunted to join Global by then owner Russel Thomson.

He told us "What I love about Global is its format of mostly dance and rnb, with the occasional back catalog tunes added for good measure. This makes our station unique, compared with our rivals who seem stuck in a 60's time warp. I do believe all presenters are there to entertain and inform. This is what we do best!"
